Hello Guys,

Thinking of staying fit and healthy is easier said than done ! The first and foremost thing people think of doing is hitting the gym ! But is gym your thing? I really can’t slog on a treadmill or keep weighing dumbbells they account to boring monotonous routines which are really hard to stick to . There are plenty of other fun ways to keeping fit than hitting the gym!

Moving to the music can make you happier, smarter, and a whole lot healthier.Your dance doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s just about having fun and moving your body . Regular dancing is great for –

  • Increasing social bonds
  • Easing out stress and tension
  • Strengthening and toning your body
  • Improving posture
  • Increasing your fitness
  • Improving your health
  • Improving balance, flexibility and coordination
  • Maintaining strong bones
  • Improving your mood which serves as an outlet for your creativity
  • Losing weight by burning off unwanted fat

Experts say, dancing burns more calories, boosts energy, improves circulation, and tones muscles more than any other traditional exercises like running, lifting weights or aerobics. And, if you really develop a passion in dance, you can try some of these different dance forms like :

  1. Ballet Dancing
  2. Belly Dancing
  3. Salsa Dancing
  4. Swing Dancing
  5. Street or Hip-hop Dancing
  6. Tap Dancing
  7. Zumba

Dancing open to those feel-good floodgates and your overall well-being . You’ll have fun moving to music and get all the health benefits of a good workout. You can also pick up some fantastic new moves and show off when the dance floor calls. And certainly it’s much better than gyming. So keep your body on it’s toes, picture your perfect self, take selfies and flaunt like i do !
